Neeraj Kumar/Begusarai. Bael is an important fruit among the ancient fruits of India. It is known by many names in different parts of the country including Belgiri, Belpatra, Jharkhandi Bael and Kathgiri. Bael is full of medicinal properties. Its juice is considered a panacea in the summer season. Seeing all these benefits, the farmers of Bihar do gardening of Bael, but they do it only as much as the tree has been left by the ancestors.
At present, only a few farmers plan to plant bael trees in their fields. But do you know that the soil of Begusarai in Bihar is considered to be suitable for bael production and now the farmers here will be provided training to make bael cultivation profitable. Complete preparations for this are being made by the Begusarai ATMA department.
Farmers of Begusarai will learn vine cultivation in Ayodhya
Ajit Kumar, director of Begusarai ATMA, told Local 18 Bihar about the gardening of vines that the soil of Begusarai is considered to be suitable for the gardening of vines. In such a situation, 30 farmers will be selected and taken to Acharya Narendra Dev Agriculture and Technology University Ayodhya for training. This university is famous for vine cultivation and training all over the country. After training the farmers here, vine plants can be made available on subsidy from the government level. He further said that training of paper vine will be given here. The vine shopkeeper of Begusarai, Bihar said that usually here the customers are given the juice of Jharkhandi vine and vines of other states. Which is very expensive and the savings are also less. If there is production in Begusarai, then shopkeepers will get vines at a low price. In such a situation, farmers will also save more.
Selection will be on first come first serve basis
According to the departmental information, the target of providing training to only 30 farmers has been achieved for the first time. In such a situation, farmers who want to get training can apply by meeting the ATMA office. It should be known that this training will be completely free. On the other hand, if you want to apply, then for this you will have to reach the ATMA office in the last week of July.
